Fiberglass-reinforced thermosetting resin pipe (RTRP) is available in diameters from fiber 1 in. to 84 in., using epoxy and glass and tubing vinyl ester resin systems. Centrifugally cast pipe is fiber available in glass sizes from 1 in. through 14 in., and it is used, along with F-Chem filament wound pipe, where tubing extreme corrosion resistance, strength, and durability are required. The installation cost is less expensive than steel pipes. Literature describes fiber advanced performance, epoxy, glass vinyl ester, high pressure, and specialty piping systems. A chart lists tubing the size range, pressure rating, maximum temperature, types of joints, and typical applications for each type of pipe. The brochure describes 10 different fiber joining systems, tools and accessories, and various fittings.
